The Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Sofia and the Center for Development and Policies,
together with the Korea Trade-Investment Promotion Agency in Sofia, have the pleasure to invite
you to Korea-Bulgaria Defence Industry Round Table “New Security Realities and Opportunities
for Defence Cooperation” which will take place on Monday, 8 June 2026 at 14:00 in the “Sofia”
Hall, Grand Hotel Sofia.
The event will bring together representatives of Bulgarian and Korean state institutions, defence and
security experts, and industry representatives from both countries to discuss the evolving security
environment and opportunities for deeper bilateral cooperation.\
Discussions will focus on defence modernization and strategic planning, regional security
developments, industrial and technological cooperation between Bulgarian and Korean companies,
and the role of innovation in strengthening defence capabilities. The roundtable will also provide a
platform for dialogue and networking aimed at fostering long-term partnerships and new
opportunities for cooperation.
The working languages of the roundtable will be English and Bulgarian. Simultaneous
interpretation will be provided as needed.
